Setting up the VPN connection in iPhone / iPod

PPTP SETUP

1. Go to "Settings".

2. Go to "General".

3. Go to "Network".

4. Go to "VPN".

5. Go to "Add VPN Configuration" and choose "PPTP".

6. Fill the form:

- Description: (A name for your VPN connection, example: Cienen.com)

- Server: (Server IP Address)

- Account: (Your Cienen account Username)

- RSA SecurID: OFF

- Password: (Your Cienen account Password)

- Encryption Level: Auto

- Send All Traffic: ON

Once you have created the VPN configuration, the VPN switch at the top of the VPN Configurations list can be used to turn VPN connection ON or OFF.

Choose the VPN configuration and slide the switch to turn VPN ON or OFF.

L2TP SETUP

1. Go to "Settings".

2. Go to "General".

3. Go to "Network".

4. Go to "VPN".

5. Go to "Add VPN Configuration" and choose "L2TP".

6. Fill the form:

- Description: (A name for your VPN connection, example: Cienen.com)

- Server: (Server IP Address)

- Account: (Your Cienen account Username)

- RSA SecurID: OFF

- Password: (Your Cienen account Password)

- Secret: ( Enter the Pre-Shared Key that was sent to you in the welcome email.)

- Send All Traffic: ON

Once you have created the VPN configuration, the VPN switch at the top of the VPN Configurations list can be used to turn VPN connection ON or OFF.

Choose the VPN configuration and slide the switch to turn VPN ON or OFF.
