VPN Services

How does a VPN account work?

As soon as you connect to one of our secure VPN servers your computer is automatically assigned a new IP address, an IP address that is owned by us, not your ISP. So all of your internet traffic is encrypted and tunneled to our VPN server. Once there, it is decrypted and allowed to travel to its intended destination. Your local ISP will only see a single encrypted data stream between you and our VPN server. Your ISP can no longer monitor, log or control your Internet usage.

What is the difference between PPTP, L2TP and OpenVPN?

PPTP uses 128 bit keys for encryption and it is faster than L2TP and OpenVPN and also very easy to setup. But it is no longer secure and can be decrypted easily by your ISP. It is available in our Shared VPN Network and it is recommended to use PPTP only if you do not use VPN to hide your Internet usage. If your purpose is just for example watching videos online, you can use PPTP without any problem.

L2TP uses 256 bit keys for encryption and it is a slightly slower than PPTP. This protocol is completely secure.

OpenVPN uses 256 bit keys for encryption and it is known for being the most secure VPN protocol without causing performance and speed issue.

L2TP or OpenVPN? Which one should I choose?

Both are good enough and you can choose whichever you like. In some countries one of them is blocked or not working good, so you have to choose the other option.

How your BBC iPlayer & ITV VPN plan works?

With this VPN you will have complete access to BBC iPlayer and ITV in the same way that local users in United Kingdom access these services. You will receive a Dedicated IP in UK and each time BBC or ITV blocks the IP for any reason we will change the IP for you within 24 hours at no extra cost.
